Hybrid BLO App works in the same way and is a method for Online Voter ID Verification or Correction, which allows users to know about the complete procedure. However, Hybrid apps get deployed in a native platform using a mobile WebView object. While using this platform, it displays web content with the help of web technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5.

For enabling apps to access specific features and give a seamless user experience, it includes native elements of each platform’s user iOS and Android interfaces. Also, it relies on platforms that offer JavaScript APIs if those features are called within a WebView.

THE Hybrid BLO app is a mobile app that is specially designed for Booth level Officers to provide an online processing mechanism for different claims, problems, and enrollment applications and details received online/ offline. This app offers a feature-rich interface to the BLOs where BLOs can verify the voter details, upload their documents, and provide their observations for further processing of the forms.

The Election Commission of India has introduced a new Feature or Facility for the Online Voter ID Verification/ Correction. In which any citizens of any state of India can make necessary changes through the Voter Helpline application with comfort. 

Election commission of India allows an application to Booth Level Officer to identify each elector’s entry and other details under the EVP program. The Hybrid BLO app helps in avoiding any fake entry, mistakes, and saving time and money for the election commission.

Process for EVP login

• Open this URL on your browser: https://www.nvsp.in/account/login
• On the EVP login page, click on Don’t have an account, Register as a new user, if you are not registered or can simply put your username and password to sign in.

Steps of BLO Hybrid App for Online Voter ID Verification or Correction

1. You need to Download the BLO Hybrid Application from Google, or if you already have this on your phone, then you need to update it.
2. Now accept the terms and click on “next”.
3. Now you can see the option – EVP Electoral Verification Program
4. Click on that and continue
5. It will now ask you for permission, click allow.
6. Mention your mobile number which is associated with your Voter id card
7. Hit on – Send OTP
8. After that you will get an OPT on your registered mobile number, which you need to put on Voter Helpline Application.
9. Click login to get logged in successfully.
10. Link your voter card by opting any following options: (a) Search by Barcode (b) Search by Details (C) Search by Epic Number

11.“Do you want to link your Mobile Number with EPIC, would your next option to link your number with your Voter ID Card then click on “Yes”.

12. Now everything is set, and your voter ID card is linked with your mobile number, and you can see the icon on your screen.
13. Now you are able to change any of your details such as an address, photo, name.
14. Though to make any changes, you need to provide any proof like Aadhar Card, passport, License, PAN Card etc.
15. After that you can give the Feedback about your Polling Booth/Station. (Can skip this step.)
16. In the end, the Election Commission of India will share a Certificate for Participating in Electoral Verification Program by BLO Hybrid App.
