In the past few years, the eating habits of people have changed a lot. Technology had contributed a lot to change the consumer preference and dependency on technology has driven them to get everything online. Bajwikitchen is an online eCommerce app to serve people with their desired food within the 10 Kms of your current location. The application’s goal to help people to get their desired all type of fast food items and apart from this our consumers can also enjoy our specialties’ ‘ Bdo Traditional Food items ‘, which is available only on Sunday.

 

The requirement to come with this app:

There is a vast majority of people who don’t get enough time to prepare their food, not have enough time to go outside to eat, and looks for various food options or when you go to cook something, you lose your interest in eating. It seems peculiar but very common. Here we come with an idea to provide all types of fast food to fulfil all of your food requirements with ‘get something extra’ kind of cravings.

 

What was the client asks:

In the first meeting with our client, he state that he wants to serve people with something different. And the purpose behind launching this app is to provide a wide range of fast food of different categories as per users desire. Also, he aimed to spread awareness about ‘BDO’ Indian traditional food.

Bajwikitchen has started from a very small town ‘Simla Bazar’ and now starting their services over Bodoland of the State Assam.

Our purpose to allow all of those customer, who are staying in our serviceable area, experience hygienic, tasty and quick food delivery services at one place, by revolutionizing the food ordering and tracking method to provide our customers with the delicious fast food from their favorite restaurant at an affordable price, by staying in their comfortable place.

 

Our approach was for Bijwikitchen food application:

 

Since this app has so many scopes and an ample range of menu, it was difficult to make this app handy and user-friendly, which was also our first concern. So we divided our team into groups and their work to focus on their assigned work, simultaneously have to stay in touch with other group members to stay updated.

A few of their role:

  • Do competitive analysis
  • Participate in creating a user persona
  • Create simple filters
  • A user can get personalized codes and referral bonus on time
  • Create a flow diagram to understand the user prospect

 

After doing all our groundwork, we consider that to make the app flawless, we have to think like a customer and have to listen to them carefully. We observed that customer looks for tasty, hygienic, timely and easy delivery and payment option along with beneficial offers like promo code and referral codes that is also a key factor for any success. We ensured that our customers get earlier notification about offers and can enjoy the advantages.

Customers want an application which runs smoothly and saves their time and gives them a quick result for what they are looking for.

To understand the concept of various food option, by keeping in the centre all our clients is the biggest challenge.

 

Difficulties in a nutshell were:

Developing an app from scratch with resources, shared by our client.

Raising the fastest food ordering solution, with user-friendly qualities.

With a purpose to ensure all the deliveries as a high-quality product with the best customer experience.

Insights:

After gathering the all required details, we started analyzing the architecture of a food app. Our expert team exhibited their imagination with maturity to provide ‘Bajwikitchen’ with a best-desired platform.

Our target is to create Bijwikitchen a brand name in a competitive market. And to achieve this goal, it’s important to make our app and services better than anyone.

For designing instead of creating the mockups from scratch for each stage we tried to use a hybrid approach and iterated for them and revised the prototype.
