Most of the people do not get sufficient time to go to the theater for watching their favourite movies or sometimes they miss to watch. An idea for movie-mate has come from here with an approach to create an app that anyone can access easily.

Here is the entire development journey of the App:

We have created a Movie Mate App  which is an App Like Hotstar as a destination to give our viewers opportunities to watch their favourite movie by staying in their comfort.

About This App:

Movie Mate App  is an Entertainment App that offers wholesome entertainment on a single platform, to fulfil all your entertainment need, on your preferred languages with the best video quality on your smartphone.

Movie Mate App has executed extremely easy to play, watch or upload any video. TheEntertainment App is currently available on Android Platform Only.

Client:

Incredibly increasing mobile and internet users globally, speed and buffering issues, while watching any video online has become a big hurdle. Our client wants us to create an over the top service, with original content, and regional language. He was looking for an app that can give viewers a complete entertainment package with the best video streaming experience similar to App Like Hotstar.

Our Approach:

Apart from thinking from the user prospect and their challenges to build App Like Hotstar, we tried to gather all deeply detailed information about streaming and downloading platform. Our purpose is to assist our viewers with great video experience while sitting on their couch. we researched to find out what and how we can make our app more sustainable, where already over the top concept exist.

Study:

To find out the best way to create a valuable application, our team has suggested to ask people what they exactly want, and what difficulties they face while they watch any online movie. During our survey, difficulties that a person face while watching a movie online was:

• Most of the people do not like to wait too long for downloading
• Advertisement in between
• Buffering
• Variety of movie
• Shortage of preferred language movie

After knowing the hurdles, our goal was to come with an app, that can resolve all upper listed issues and can connect a person directly with their favourite movie in their language with an option of downloading as well.

After doing the re-evaluation we come with the Features of:

• Easy log in/log out option
• Movie sharing option
• Movie on-demand feature
• Create own favourite list from liked movie link
• Create own watch list, to watch later
• Easy download feature
• Watch a movie in your preferred language
• Latest movie collection
• Report an issue

Insights:

During the app development, language setting has become the biggest hindrance for us. To maintain the app standard, we created an interface that facilitates users to choose their language as per their selection.

To deliver the best quality videos while watching the videos, our application development team has created Hyperlink Info system into customised web services for such Entertainment App.

During our work, we ensure that will not have to create an application to watch movies, but we have to give our viewers an exceptional experience of watching online.

We do not believe in developing complications unnecessarily. We tried to keep Movie Mate App a more accessible platform to search for any movie and to create best Entertainment App.

We also had to ensure that a gap was maintained between the release cycles, to come across as an app that is updating instead of one that is under maintenance.

Wire frame & Prototypes:

Our creative team task was to work on wire frames with the designs about how the app was going to look like, and to make concurrency time higher.

We tried to use bright and vibrant colors to make the app attractive for age viewers. Within the design structure, we left space to make it easier to find the details such as movie names and categories.

Outcome:

The process required to considerably improve the entire user experience and drive new viewers in the direction of achieving business goals.

We break downed the user journey map to understand their purpose and requirement. That helps us to know functional requirements and features that an online watching app requires.

We kept our vision focused on the steps that a user needs to perform to download a movie or to watch it online.

Our team has come with a highly aesthetic and intuitive platform, to give our users a comprehensive experience to ensure that they will return on our platform.

The revised end product that we got was an app that had a high concurrency rate, with an ability to serve viewers with an awesome online watching experience.

What was our client reaction to the completion of the project?
